RECENTLY INTRODUCED LEGISLATION WILL ABOLISH THE OHIO MANUFACTURED HOMES COMMISSION

YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE OMHA PAC IS VITAL TO ENSURE OUR INDUSTRY VOICE IS HEARD!

If  the Manufactured Homes Commission is abolished all regulation will be buried in various state bureaucracies once again.

The Commission is a one stop shop for all installation, inspections, consumer complaints, and retail and park regulations in the State of Ohio.

The Commission staff has the industry expertise needed to regulate manufactured homes.

OMHC reduced Park license fees by nearly 10% and is in process to further reduce Park and various other license and homeowner inspection fees by an additional 20%.  These fee reductions are at risk! Without the Commission fees will likely increase in the future.

Six of the Nine Commission members per Ohio law must come from the industry. Industry representation will be eliminated if the MH Commission is abolished.

Keeping the Commission will continue to provide fair and balanced regulation, ensure consumer protection and reduce fees.
